Barastoc Hobby Farm Mix

Barastoc Hobby Farm Mix is a palatable, nutritious and balanced muesli-style ration made from cereal grains, lucerne and molasses.  Contains a complete mineral and vitamin concentrate pellet for a balanced diet. It is suitable for the supplementary feeding of adult ruminant herds of mixed species – cattle, sheep and goats.  Suitable for a wide range of breeds.  To be fed with pasture or hay.

Feeding Guide

Barastoc Hobby farm Mix is suitable for feeding to adult cattle, sheep and goats as a supplement to good quality pasture or hay.

Cattle and Goats

Start feeding stock with hobby farm mix at a rate of 0.1 kilograms per 50 kilograms of body weight per animal per day.  Gradually increase the rate of feeding each day for the next 21 days up to 0.5 kilograms per 50 kilograms of body weight per animal per day.  Do not feed more than 2.5 kilograms per meal for cattle.  Do not feed more than 1 kilogram per meal for goats.

Sheep

Start feeding stock with hobby farm mix at a rate of 0.1 kilograms per 50 kilograms of body weight per animal per day.  Gradually increase the rate of feeding each day for the next 21 days up to 0.5 kilograms per 50 kilograms of body weight per animal per day.  Do not feed more than 0.75 kilograms per animal per day for sheep.

Ensure that a plentiful supply of fresh, clean water is available at all times.

Do not feed sheep additional copper without consulting a veterinarian or animal nutritionist.
